Hopefully you used the rubber pads and drywall sanding screens? They're
better than power sanders. They cut quickly but you still have control.

Thats pretty much what I use.
I've also gotten to like the sponge sanding screens as well.
I am getting to the point where I don't do a lot of sanding.
The room I am in now only got sanded once, then just a few touch ups and a
bit more sanding.
