YES! You hit the nail on the head, Shel. It doesn't matter if the camera's handheld or not: http://www.masters-of-photography.com/S/strand/strand_wall_street_full.html I'd say that's a snapshot. Taken with a view camera on a tripod. Lots of planning. But, he had to wait for the right moment.
