Hi Juan,
The FA28 is my main prime lens on the D. When I bought the D I
thought it would be the FA35 (I'm a 50mm kind of guy...), but I
changed my mind. I like the wider view and the stop lost is not
an issue (although I dream of a FA28/2...). In fact I use it
wide open a lot with great results.
I'm sorry but I don't really know the actual prices for this
lens (I guess I paid US$200 a couple of years ago)...

I guess the M is (was?) easily available (and probably hard to
sell for more than a few $), while the K30 would be a bit
difficult to find again if you decide after the swap that you
cannot live without it...
I'm more a collector when it comes to sell my gear (in fact I
have too many items sitting unused right now), so I would not
swap or sell any of the two. But it's just me...
Back to the user point of view, I'm not using my manual focus
28mm (K28/3.5, M28/3.5) anymore (on the D; the M28/3.5 is ready
to be mounted on a LX when needed, though), with the only
exception of the M28/2, probably sharper than the FA wide open
and - of course - faster. But I use it very seldom (just when I
really need it).
Ciao,
Gianfranco
