Jerome, I have used the A*135/1.8 and it is truly superb and unique. The scratches on the front are a problem as to price. As a collector, I would be looking elsewhere. As a photographer, this is one of the 3 best lenses Pentax made, along with the A*85/1.4, and A100/2.8 Macro. I would buy it right now for US$ 225, but would probably pass at a price of US$ 450. That said, who knows what offers you will get from the PDML or from ebay (although ebay seems a bit weak at the moment). Regards, Bob S.
