I like the MZ-S body a lot, but I've never used one: just held them
in the store. If I'd run across it in 2000 when I was selling off my
Nikon kit, I'd have been into Pentax a lot earlier. :-)
What I'm very curious about is the strange hesitancy of these list
member who've responded regards the MZ-S electronics' durability. In
all my cameras, and other hybrid electro/mechanical gear of the past
40 years, whenever something has broken down it's been a mechanical
component that's worn out, not the electronics.
I suspect that used with respect and cared for properly, the MZ-S
will outlast the supply of inexpensive film to use in it.
