Hi Patrick!
I came across a book from Library titled "MACRO PHOTO AND CINE METHODS",
by Arnim and Ingeborg Tolke. It is quite mathematical and ground work on
Macrophotography. It also explains precisely, how to get correct exposure
with Manual electronic flash (NOT the ring flash). The authors have also
demonstrated the way of using two flashes to obtain various kind of
effects, for example "lantern" lighting. All throughout the description is
very precise.
I found it very useful but I am sure that I am not going to be
cinematographer. Only the last few chapters are on Macro Cinematography
and all the rest on Macro Still Photography.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help in understanding Macro
Photography methods.
With kind regards,
Ayash Kanto.
