One more time words failed me. In fact it's not wrong.
Let me rephrase myself: My eyes don't find anything that gives any real idea
of the size of the objects in background. Looking closer I see that the
level in background is a few meters away. At first glance, without analysing
the, it occurred to be "wrong". Most likely something confused (fooled) my
eye. Perhaps it was the fence, perhaps something else. I'm not able to tell.
I'm not able to "rewind" my mind like this.

Anyway, it's just IMO. Not a "fact".
