Unfortunatly i have to agree. I was hoping for more dramatic effect with the 
rock cut. I
was trying
for a 'lava flow' effect but it didi not work out that well. I tried in PS to 
do something
with the
few shadows in the shot, but came up empty.

I have another dead tree angle that i'll try next.
