I like this photograph, and I generally like this series that you took
way back when, of neighbourhood kids.

I like the way these kids are so comfortable with the camera, the way
they're fooling around and posing for you.  There's a very relaxed and
honest feel to this photo, even though we know the kid's just mugging
for the camera.

I also like your awareness of the background, the geomety of the
stairs and doorways, and the inclusion of grafitti and the dirt and
grime, the few blades of grass trying to sprout up against the wall,
all of which tells us a lot about the environment these kids are
growing up in.
