Bruce, Each of us "sees" life through their personal experience filters. My perspective: This field worker shanty would represent "failure" to me and I'd have no inclination to attempt beautification, as they've done, through the use of flowers and house decorations. I would wallow in my despair and search for pity everywhere. When I look at this image, "bless their hearts" is silently spoken.
