Like I said - copyright law is complicated, and more than one person can own copyright to an image. The fact that you have copyright on your image is enough to prevent anybody else reproducing it without your permission. But that still doesn't mean you are the sole copyright holder - if the photograph depicts a copyrighted subject (including, but not limited to, such things as artwork, architecture, etc.) the holders of those rights also have copyright claims on your image.
