The FA35/2 is a nice enough lens if you can find it, and isn't overly
expensive, if you can find it.
Esthetically, it's just another Pentax AF lens though. It has a crappy
little manual focus ring with a noodley feel.
The 31mm lens is available, and is gorgeous in every respect, including a
not bad focus feel.
If compactness and light weight are an important consideration, the 31 is
neither compact nor is it light weight.
