Our usual pub was short of the regular stout (last day open
before summer holydays) so we opted to several pints of McEwans
Scotch Ale (not bad, after all...)

Oh no! I really LIKE McEwans!
I order it for my usual Sunday morning meal of bangers and mash, at a
local pub.
This is LATE morning, you understand, and with a belly full of delicious
bangers, and a pint or two of a very nice ale, I've time to digest it
before bedtime!
If I did that at 3 in the afternoon, I'd STILL be stuffed full at 8:30
in the evening!
