There have been some threads on low light shooting lately. I just came over this article http://194.100.88.243/petteri/pont/Photography_lessons/h_Lesson_7/a_Availabl e_light_situationals.html at Petteri's Pontifications titled "In A Jazz Club With No Flash".
Very "to the point". As I read it, it's mainly about the attitude. I've bookmarked it. His perhaps most important advice is this: "10. Don't forget to enjoy the music.". The rest is technique. Tim Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian.) Never underestimate the power of stupidity in large crowds (Very freely after Arthur C. Clarke, or some other clever guy)
