If you own - a small bowl and a piece of bicycle inner tire (this to unscrew the label plate and collecting screws) - a stick of wood and two nails hit through it (this as an -unadjustable- spanner) - a small screwdriver - very basic understanding of mechanics and enough self-confidence
then you actually are a repair person... I suppose this applies to most of the people around? At least I repaired a broken 24mm SMC Tak. I got from ebay once this way.
