Hi Dave,
Perhaps there are slight dimensional differences between the Kodak film
cassette and the Fuji film cassette, such that the Kodak cassettes might
seal in your SF1, but the Fuji cassettes don't completely seal? Not sure if
this is likely, but it seems not outside the realm of possibility.
