Then, quickly take their picture again!  :)

(For best effect, say this in a dramatic voice during a thunderstorm -- just after a flash of lightning, and just before the thunder crashes.) :)


Seriously though, these people do remind me of stories of primitive natives who thought that having their picture taken would somehow "steal their soul." In many respects, our "modern civilization" hasn't advanced very far from what they like to refer to as primitive, superstitious, and uneducated tribal cultures.
