See, I told you so.

Welcome onboard Charles! Enjoy the slow ride ;-)
I know this "feel wholly inadequate as a photographer" thing. There are some
very good photographers hanging around here. And some of them bite a lot.
Happily, most of them don't have their real teeth ;-)
I don't think they photograph anymore. Believe they spends most of their
awake time keeping us noob's down, instead of taking pictures.
BTW. Don't ever believe a word I say ;-)
PESO is an acronym for Photo Every So Often. Its simply something you put in
the header to tell people that the post includes an URL to a picture you
like people to look at.
GESO is nearly the same, a Gallery Every So Often. Some maniacs even uses
PAW, Picture Every Week.
This, and a bit more you will find at this link

Subject: Noob question: GESO? PESO?
Pardon me if there is a FAQ that I missed... I've been lurking for a
couple of days and have yet to figure out what PESO/GESO stand for.
Help?
Other than that, it has been fantastically informative and
interesting to see all of your perspectives. It is making me feel
wholly inadequate as a photographer, but it's still fun.
