On a lens note, I must say that I had the 28-105 "Power Zoom" lens
and it was underwhelming at best. I must have had a bad sample,
based on all the praise that has been heaped on it. Fuzzy... "not
too sharp" is the best I can say. And I'm still bummed that I spent
a week in China with THAT as my only telephoto lens in the bag.
Well, it's broken now and I've replaced it with a semi-cheap Tamron
28-200XR which, while cursed with quite-visible CA gives an overall
much better image (to my eye).
