What make either of these predictions possible. HOW
do you guys know what Pentax will or will not do
in the near or distant future?
For example they have put out 4 different DSLRs in just
the last 2 years. Who predicted or would have even
guessed that would come from them?
Ok, aside from the fact that I got taken by an inside joke (::grins, shakes
fist::) I just don't think Pentax can afford the risk involved with putting
out a 35mm-size-sensor'd dSLR. That's really the meat & potatoes here, as
some people say (mmmmmm, meat and potatoes).
Plus there's the question of whether corner sharpness would be good enough
with wide-angle lenses, but I think this whole 35mm-vs-APS-C horse has been
beaten enough.

P.S.: seriously, though: didn't Pentax's profits drop forty-something
percent recently? For whatever reason, Nikon appears to be one of the only
major players making a LOT of profit.
