OK, but no different than shooting film with the same Canon glass.
The main problem is that with digital we are used to inspect the technical quality of our images far more severely than we did with film, just because it's so easy to do that. Maybe not everybody, but at least I find myself acting that way. At the end, on average we spot a lot more lens problems that we did in the past.

Sure, but if even a third of EF optics do not work than there's a
major problem IMO.
