People who want to use their fast normal lenses the same way on digital as they do on film, for example.

I think you can't. I think you will have problems with the edges of the pictures and you will eventually end up buying new lenses, at the same FL, optimised for digital.

If the diameter of the K-mount can accommodate any real optimisations, that is. If it can't, you may need to also kiss teles and normals and everything good bye.
