Hi all! I searched the previous exchange on this topic, but did not find the answers to my questions.
I am trying to choose an HDD-based PSD (portable storage device). After reviewing http://fhoude34.free.fr/PortableHD.htm and a many other sites, including manufacturers' sites, I seem to have narrowed down to a few models: CompactDrive PD70X, TRanscent Photobank, JObo Giga Mini, Vosonic X-Drive VP3320 and VP2160, ImageTank G2, EZDigiMagic DM180. So, my questions: 1. Personal experience (pros and cons) of people using either of these units. 2. Vosonic And EZDigiMagic - How slow is the card to HDD transfer? How many transfers (say, in total GB transferred) does the battery last? 3. Vosonic - is it known in what format does it record audio? (MP3? WAV?..) 4. For those devices that don't accept SD card directly, - how slow is the transfer from SD with a CF adapter? Thanks to evreybody in advance, Igor
