Hi Anand,
The rubber stamp tool is simply the Photoshop version of what many other graphic
programs call the "clone tool".
You can copy (clone) a smaller or greater spot/area of a picture and place it
elsewhere, covering other spots/areas.
Very useful tool indeed.
