I ran into that problem once at a Grateful Dead show. It was an
overzealous security guy. I even showed him the flyer that came with
the tickets saying that cameras were allowed and he still wouldn't
let me in. I went to a different gate and this guy let me in. It
turned out to be the last Grateful Dead concert.
