Thanks for answer.
I have to think about that.

Of course, i dont have enough $$$.
But as i started to shoot more Velvias and Astias instead of Reala, people are asking me to show slides.

I don't know is it worth to scan all the slides (i'm doing it anyway), resize, and show with some cheap (?) $2000 worth video projector, that can do 1024x768 (less than 4x6 inch paper)

I think, i can wait for prices to drop and get one for $500-700.

P.S. I shot 5 rolls of slide film in French Alps 2 weeks ago. In mountain landscape photography there is always not enough resolution. I'm really happy with P645 + 55mm lens, and of course internal exponometer did a perfect job.

P.P.S. I have to return to scanning .... :)

is it worth buying one?

that depends on how many medium format slides you have, how many you will be
shooting and how much money you have in your pocket. I don't think they're
worth skipping meals to scrape the money together. If you have the $$$
readily available and nothing else to spend it on then by all means go for
it.

And what is the best place to look for used one?

KEH and B&H both have used ones in stock. eBay has some on occasion. The
Cadillac of medium format projectors is probably the Hasselblad ones but
they're ~ $1500. Rollei and Kindermann also made some of recent vintage.

There are also some older ones available. This is a pretty good resource for
information on them:

The older ones occasionally pop up on eBay. There's a Baush and Loumb (sp?)
one currently listed with no bids. The price seems a little high to me.

I assume, that at least some on this list have seen such thing.

I bought one of the older ones off eBay a little while ago. Now all I have
to do is shoot the film I bought.
