Hi Shel,
I've had most of the glitches mentioned here on the D with
Alkaline and NiMh batteries.
Remove them for a bit and replace with fresh and all is well
again.
AND NOW I have a new one to add:
With the current _Lithiums_ that are in the camera, and they
are very close to dead, when I fire the camera via the release
on the AA grip/battery pack the camera takes one frame and then
starts to "machine gun".
The shutter fires repeatedly and VERY fast.
The only way to stop it is to remove the AA grip.
Kind of amusing actually, sounds like the PZ-1p! ;-)
Doesn't worry me, I know new batteries will solve the problem.
