It's a good camera. I had some time playing with one shortly before they were released and found it a good performer. However, I didn't like the control layout very much, the high-ISO performance isn't up to the Pentax or Canon 6MPixel SLRs, and the there are only a few primes in the lens line. The E1 is a nicer body, far as I'm concerned, and I'd buy one of those in a minute if they had the lenses I want.
