I haven't actually shot any photos with one but I have handled them a
few times in camera stores, I was very impressed with it's build quality
and manual focusing. What it reminded me of most was the smc-P FA
28-200 which was also made by Tamron. Looks and feels like it's little
brother.
If it follows the lead of the 28-200 it will be on the low end of
mediocre on film but fairly nice on a D body.
