It's a stunningly beautiful day here in Toronto. I've not been out on a photographic walkabout for a long time - I've been biking about on weekends almost all summer, and even though I bring a camera with me, it's just not the same - I find my backpack to be restrictive when shooting, and with my bike clothing on, I feel rather conspicuous (which I ~don't~ want when street shooting). Besides, I need to be a pedestrian to "get into the rhythm" of things streetwise.
Tomorrow is the TOPDML meeting at the Canadian National Exhibition Airshow, so I was stocking up on film yesterday, and I decided to get a roll of 120 Tri-X, as I haven't had the Yashica Mat out for a walk in a long, long time. So, for today, it's the Mat and the Leica CL, and a day on the streets of Toronto; I have no idea where I'm going to go or what I'm going to do, but I hope to get lots of piccies. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
