But not the ugly ones? <LOL> Two thoughts: a) The taping or non-taping of logos is a non-issue with me. I don't tape mine, but for me, it's (how to explain this?) a matter that I don't want anyone to think me a "professional HCB type who's good enough to want to tape over his logos". Almost an "anti-anti-logo" sensibility. But, that being said, I really don't care what anyone does with his or her equipment - it's a personal issue, and not my worry. b) On the "cute girls asking" front, I took my Yashica Mat out for a walk (with film in it, of course), along with my CL. The CL was for "street shooting", the Mat was for more static shots, like architecture and the like. Whilst on the prowl with CL in hand (strap wrapped around my wrist), I had the Mat slung, strap over my shoulder, camera on the back of my right hip, so it would be out of the way. I had several people comment, "cool camera", including one lovely young thing, with whom I chatted for about 15 minutes. She was 1/2 my age (about my eldest daughter's age), so I was "just chatting", but still, it was fun. <LOL> It's about the only way I get noticed by the fairer sex these days, but I'll take it any way I can get it. <g> cheers, frank
