Sorry, don't have time right now to hunt it up and take a picture to post. (I don't use the monopod very often...)

Imagine a cylinder about 1.5 inches long with ends about the same diameter. It's pinched in the middle, hourglass shaped, about 1 inch thick in the center, so that it can bend freely. One end has a screw hole in it, the other a tripod screw coming out.
