More hits isn't necessarily better.  In fact, I prefer google since it
returns less noise in the results (and hence less hits) than other engines
(which are now accepting payment to have certain companies' links returned
first, regardless of match quality).  But alas, I'm sure google will start
accepting payments to have companies' links returned first.
