Me too.

*However*

Alex showed me some beautiful prints from TMY today. I've never seen
anything from TMY I liked (that I know of) until I took a good look at
his prints.

I've been shooting Tri-X pretty much exclusively for the last 9 months,
but my experiments with D400 look really good. I tried a couple of rolls
in D76 but was unimpressed. I had 2 more, and decided to try them in
XTOL. They're fantastic. I'm really pleased, and may be switching.

The other cool thing is that it's fast. I've been shooting at 400 and
have very dense negs. I could easily shoot it at 500 (which Ilford
recommends for XTOL anyway) and still have latitude. I'm betting it
looks nice at 800 too, and they give times for 1600, so I may give it a
try.

Har! Mine doesn't look that bad. Then again, I'll probably stick with
TMZ.

They totally changed it within the last 6 months. It is a t-grain type
film, but Ilford's grain looks different from Kodak's IMO.

Some things are more important then photography.

Well, not really, but keep telling yourself that.
