It won't offend anyone's tender sensibilities on this list if they see the words "Canon", "Nikon" or "Minolta" spelled out in full. I see them written on cameras and in adverts all the time, and manage to restrain myself from throwing my Pentax gear in the trash. I don't mean to pick on you, Dave, and of course I'm being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but IMHO the asterisks really aren't protecting anyone from anything. In fact, they strike me as a bit silly.
