A great camera. Intuitive layout, good set of useful features. The battery
grip is a must for me, and I think you'd like it too, since the thing is
just too little to fit my hand otherwise (and the batteries are cheaper). I
ditched my MZ because I often use 2 bodies when I'm doing a job, and I have
a hell of a time switching between the interfaces of the Z1p and the MZ5N.

Subject: ZX-5N?

Well I'm about 90% sure I'm going to buy this used ZX-5N and I just need
someone to push me over the edge. I'm taking mostly pictures of my kids and
motor sports but I like to think I could take more "artsy" shots if I just
got off my duff to do it. The A3000 ( my current camera) is a bit limited
in functionality and the 5N seems to have much more than my limited
experience could need for a few years. I would also like to have a separate
body to load with B&W so I would never again feel the pain of having the
wrong film for the job. I know, some of you have like 7 bodies loaded with
different film at all times....
So, any reason NOT to buy-up? What about that AA battery holder? Am I
stepping deeper into the abyss?

Thanks,
Cory Waters
