Paul, On the second thought (is there such an expression?), I keep thinking about Shel's comment on my b/w conversions... They look invariably digital. It seems the same case here... I don't mean that as a critique, just an observation.
It occurs to me now that it has to do with the differences in film and digital response curves... Digital is very rigid, probably quite linear and very different from film. It is not bad or good, just different. For most folks here it could be rather trivial thing to conclude. For me it is a bit of revelation ;-). -- Boris
