I definitely think you went too far. Everything looks artificial. You've
lost the natural coloring in the skin and hair. The hair looks overly sharp
on the top-left. The teeth look physically flattened because of the
brightening. The upper corners are lighter than the rest of the background.
The total lack of skin texture on her chest looks very unnatural. It almost
looks a bit like a hand-colored B&W photo at this point, except not in a
flattering way.
I would go back and try again.
