Not wanting to sound like I am arguing everything here or knocking the usage of hand held meters as I prefer that method myself when possible but how can you say that's faster than using the built in meter with green button or true AE if the camera had it? Its slower and not simpler to set both the aperture and shutter speed manually even if you know the settings to use and even more slower if you first have to take a reading with an external meter isnt it? jco
