This particular cattail was intriguing because it looked so much like
a hot dog to me.

Looks more like a bratwurst to me. Needs saurkraut!
Technically, the background kinda bothers me. Maybe its relative uniformity
makes my eye see the overall image as rather flat. Or maybe the image just
needs a little more contrast. It's just too flat, imho.
