Depends how you define 'reasonably priced'. I paid about 900 USD for
mine, and for what it is, that's very reasonable. Beaters at $400,
mint
at $1400. There isn't a better lens for the money IMO.
With the daughter just starting college, and both of our vehicles in
about the $1000 value range, the thought of spending $1400 on a lens
fills me with a fear at what would happen to my marriage if I should
try something like that!
I was thinking more like $100-150 for now. But I would LOVE the 85mm
f1.4! My birthday is on Thursday.....
