Now that is a sane and sensible idea. Perhaps we can start such a petition
and submit it to Pentax. Imagine how impressed Pentax Corp would be to
receive an envelope from IOWA filled with suggestions from loyal Pentax
users from all over the world. I wonder what, if any, impact such a list
would have, assuming it was presented in a reasonable and organized manner.

You see what we get in a so-called democracy where the system is alleged to
reflect the will of the people. Now imagine what one will get when their
'vote' was never asked for. :) You'd think if Pentax cared they would
solicit each and every customer that bought a product and turned in a
warranty card.
