Thanks Gents for the replies.
I do not use the Kodak 800 very often,just indoors at one 
horse arena in the area that has fairly good lighting from roof
sky lights and some big glass windows on the north and south wall.
I mostly take the pictures here so the kids have some horse
jumping shots to look at during the winter(off season up here)and i 
can't get close enough for a flash.
I'll try it in the arena as i'm not looking for any great contrast 
etc,just wondering if it was toast.
I know there was a thread a while back re best 400 film for a pdml'rs 
trip to the great white north and i know max and superia are consumer 
grades
of film but what would be a good "pro" type film in the 400/800 class
