Yep. Scott, used an SMC-Macro-Takumar 50/1.4 yesterday. Works fine!
Often use other M-series lens just as well.

By the time your finger is back to the shutter button, the camera is
ready.
Watch that you don't knock yourself out of metering range with the green
button metering method.
