If this is something that corporate minds can understand,
but which ordinary minds can't, I'd say this points more
to a problem with the ordinary mind than the corporate one.

Personally, John, I think the *istD is prefectly fine. So is the Digital
Rebel.

I can understand why people want more. I want quicker writer rate or whatever
it is called, ie. the ability to take more fast shots in a row, and a larger
buffer. But I am happy with what I have -- for now.

To me a camera is just a tool. A lens is just a tool. And while I can like
and even love some tools, that is all they are. Tools can be replaced.

The results, photography, is what matters to me. Much more than any tools.
Imagination and skill cannot be replaced. Although one always wants the best
tools one can afford. But being able to afford the best tools is also always
the
hitch for me, personally. So I make do with tools that are less than top
notch.

I am on a camera list, so I expect concern with tools. But I have a lot less
concern with them than many do. I also seem to replace my tools more
frequently.
