I thought with Leica it mattered which metering cam was in the lens,
and they had compatability problems because of it.
I only know one Leica R user which is where this info came from, so I
could be full of it again.
I don't really know a lot about Leica, so they may well have their
problems, too. I've just been assuming that have a high degree of
compatible because they've used their current bayonet mounts for a very
long time, and there are adaptors for even older lenses, and I haven't
heard about any major issues like the Nikon ones, but that could be
because I haven't listened very carefully...
