I looked into this today. Here is the official word:

Hi Bob,

Jan forwarded your inquiry to me and the answer is yes, due to market changes, AgfaPhoto will phase out its entire line of 120 and 220 films.  The phase out will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by mid 2006. Additionally, AgfaPhoto will be phasing out 35 mm Ultra 100, Scala 200X and RSX II ISO 50.

Discontinuation of these products will not impact the remaining AgfaPhoto film line. AgfaPhoto films that are not affected, and that we will continue to offer include: Optima 100/200/400, RSX II 100, APX 100/400, Vista 100/200/400, APS Star 200, CT Precisa 100 and Polaroid.

discontinued their 120 films and their E6 chemistry. If you use their stuff,
go out and buy whatever you can, because once it's gone, it's gone.

Just another sign of the times, I'm afraid.

Never was a fan of their slide film, but i do like their B&W papers.
My chrome of choice is Kodaks 100VS, but i think they have renamed/packaged that into
somthing else.
A G name now i think.
