Long story, and quite OT to boot. Short version is that I bought a
custom frame from a fellow who is just getting into frame-making -
it's quite lovely, a mix of various Columbus tubes. He threw on a
bunch of components that were lying around his shop, but the BB,
headset and rear cassette are Campy, the rest are used Shimano that
will be replaced eventually by Campy stuff. About a week after I got
that bike, the frame of my Rossin trackbike cracked. I think it's
fixable, but I still don't know. If not, I'll eventually get another
track frame and put my current components on it.

So, right now, my only workable bike actually has gears and brakes.
I'm not getting any younger, you know...

<lol>

cheers,
frank
