Let me explain my arguments and counter arguments. I find that if I leave even the tiniest thing out in an argument someone goes for that loophole and then I have to reply again later to close that loophole out. That's a waste of time. I think its easier to just post all my feelings on all apects of the issue at once, especially when its fresh in mind. the reason is one long detailed post is far more effective that a bunch of little ones in making a point because if the little earlier points are lost or forgotton than the effort and strength of the assertation is LOST FOREVER. I don't like wasting time so I doubt that will ever change. I think long detailed posts are better than a bunch of short ones period. Now if you mean that I shouldn't respond to ALL rebuttals of my posts if they are on same vague subject matter, why not? There is no point in not responding to any rebuttals if I agree with them or not. They usually are bringing something new into the discussion or they wouldn't be rebutting so its not repeating myself its further proving a contention instead of leaving it in doubt by not replying to a false or invalid argument in my opinion. Secondly, the CAPS issue isnt just shouting. Its just a simple easy way to emphisize certain key words in a statement like italics. I may have been guilty of overusing it but I cant see how its really doing any harm and once again it IMPROVES the communication because if I make a fairly long statement and its something I think has been repeatedly missed in my previous statements, then I need to emphasize it. Yes maybe it is shouting in the tradition sense too but maybe shouting is needed too in some cases or arguments. I will try to limit it usage if I can but total elimination isnt likely. And another thing, I hate the personal attacking. Its far worse than caps but many people here continue to do it. and I don't see any complaining about it so this is my official complaint on that matter.
