I went with Minolta Dual Scan IV. I did choose a Minolta over Nikon
because they are supposed to be better with B/W scans. Price was a
deciding factor as well.

So far I am reasonably satisfied with it. Scans are good, but I need
to get on top of color adjustments. So far WB seems pretty wild. Some
time ago Alin Flaider gave me some good suggestions about it, but I
didn't find the time to try them yet.

All in all, I can finally get a digital file out of film when I want
it and it feels good. That is what I was looking for.
